This issue brings you the latest and most interesting contributions on EGNOS implementation for different aviation stakeholders such as the case of JETFLY in business aviation or the KEMPEN airport experience in The Netherlands.
The maritime market gains strength in this edition where you can know more about the use of EGNOS enabled Portable Pilots Units (PPUs) implemented in the Port of Guadalquivir in Sevilla (Spain) and the use of EGNOS by the Latvian Hydrographic Service for safe navigation purposes and even for pre and post dredging works.
Environmentally Protected Areas in Europe such as the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, although having the highest peaks of the Pyrenees in Catalonia did not have any obstacle to introduce EGNOS in their activities. This service gives them the precision they need at no additional cost.
The EGNOS Bulletin is a fully open access journal, published three times a year with the main objective of displaying EGNOS use cases and the latest updates in various market segments. In this issue, we offer you an interesting interview with the ISAVIA ANS team, the Air Navigation Service Provider in Iceland. ISAVIA ANS recently implemented an LPV procedure for Iceland and the surrounding oceanic areas (BIRD).
