First GEO Swap successfully completed!

The EGNOS geostationary satellite (GEO) INMARSAT 4F2 (PRN 126) has been introduced in the operational platform replacing satellite ASTRA 5-B (GEO-2/PRN 123), which has become part of the EGNOS TEST Platform broadcasting the TEST Signal-In-Space. This current Space Segment configuration will last until 20th February 2020, when the planned second GEO Swap will take place and the GEO satellite ASTRA 5-B (GEO-2/PRN 123) will become part of the EGNOS operational platform.
